Field of Remembrance

Pt England school staff and students remembered the brave soldiers who fought at Gallipoli 100 years ago. We had 1 minute of silence to think about all the soldiers who have given up their lives in the wars so we can be safe. 

Malama Honua

View of the beautiful Hokule'a at sunrise. 2000 school students from our Manaiakalani cluster had the privilege to greet the Waka as it landed on Pt England Beach. The Hikianalia, also came  carrying Hawaii’s education leaders.

MOTAT

Room 15 had a wonderful time at MOTAT. We learnt about inventions throughout the last century.

Safety Day

Lennox had a great day at the Safety Day run by the police and fire fighters. He got to try on a police uniform, go into a house with a fireman and learnt how to get out safely. He went down a big slide and won a raffle. What a wonderful day. 

Noodle Making

Room 15 made delicious 2 minute noodles.

When the noodles were done. We got fed like birds .The noodles were delicious.

Kiwisport

Kiwi Sport for this term is snag golf. Room 15 enjoys being challenged to learn new sports.

Room 15 loved their swimming lessons.

Duffy Theatre

Room 15 was lucky to have Duffy Theatre come and see us. We learnt that reading is fun and we can learn so much from books.

They are planting a plant from a scene in Harry Potter. Room 15 learnt that books often become movies. 

All About Me

Welcome to Room 15

I am your teacher this year. I have 5 children, Luke, Samuel, Olive, Genevieve and Ethan. My daughter Olive is getting married in March this year. I have a dog called Fleur. She is black and barks all the time. Some of the things I love to do are swim, garden, read and walk my dog. My favourite food is chocolate ice cream.
