Rosie the Dairy Cow

Milk Production

Rosie is a cow and she eats grass. After that the farmer milks the cow. The milk goes into the vat and into the truck. The truck with the milk in it goes to the factory to test the milk if it's good. Then the milk goes to the shops so people can buy it to drink and to make some ice cream. Milk is healthy. By Hilary

Making Play Dough to Learn Fractions

Each child in Class 15 made play dough, they chose which colour they wanted, and we coloured the play dough with brightly coloured paint. We then made pizza, sharing among 2 friends by cutting it in half, then 4 friends by cutting it in quarters. Mrs Trimble ate 3 pieces, and they told her she ate 3/4 of the pizza. We made 5 buns and shared them among 4 friends. We found out that each friend got 1 1/4 buns each.

Fia Fia, 9 April 2014

Hopa and Hinerangi finish the wonderful Fiafia night with Kapa Haka.

Aisha, Lillyana and Amelia enjoy watching Fiafia together after their performances. It's a late night but a fun night! Aisha is in her colourful Bollywood costume and Lillyana and Amelia are in their beautiful Tongan costumes that Lillyana's mother made.

We have Fiafia to make Mr Burt smile everyday. By Amelia
